Patients who require special care are treated in the intensive or coronary care units.

These units provide constant observation by nurses. Emergency equipment is at the bedside so complications can be dealt with immediately.

Visiting Hours
Visiting patients in these units should be limited. The immediate family (two members at a time) may visit for ten minutes at 8:00 and 10:00 AM, noon, 2:00, 4:00, 6:00, 8:00 and 10:00 PM. Visiting at other times depends upon the needs of the patient. Ask the nurse about other visits.
