» Business North Carolina magazine listed Iredell Memorial among the top 25 hospitals in North Carolina recommended by patients. 

The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems is a national survey that asks patients who spend one or more nights at a hospital if they would recommend that hospital to family and friends. Factors include outcomes, pain control, hospital noise and cleanliness, how quickly nurses respond, whether doctors explain procedures and whether patients receive good instructions when discharged. Business North Carolina published a list of the state’s top adult, acutecare hospitals with 50 or more beds.

In 2012, Iredell was listed among the state's best hospitals, too.
